Prospero is designed to accommodate a variety of rehearsal and performance venues. Locations in Prospero are represented by venues and spaces. Venues are buildings or campuses. Spaces are the rooms or areas inside venues.

For example, say your organization performs in Hampton Theater at 1234 Theatre Rd. That would be a venue. Inside the theater, there are several rooms: the mainstage, a green room, a black box. Those would be spaces. The hierarchy looks like this:

You can add a new venue by clicking the + Venue button in the top right corner of the Locations tab.

Add a name for the venue. You can also add an image for the venue to customize the view. Add an address and any additional notes about the location. Click Save to create the venue

Spaces

Once you have created a venue, you can indicate separate rehearsal spaces at the same location by adding a space. Add specific rooms or spaces within a venue by clicking + Space.

Give the new space a name. You can add a photo and include any additional notes about it as well.

These spaces will have the same physical address as the venue they are a part of, but each will have their own name, photo, and notes.

You will now be able to select either the entire venue or a specific space as the location when creating an event.
